Heather is an Alexander City native and 2002 alumna of Benjamin Russell High School. In 2006, she received a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Development and Family Studies with highest honors from Auburn University. She received a Master of Science degree in Counseling and Psychology from Troy University in 2011. She has been fully licensed as an LPC since 2014.

Most of Heather's training and experience has involved counseling children, adolescents, and their families, as well as adult women. She is passionate about helping each client reach his or her goals and live healthier, happier lives.

 

Heather assists with a variety of concern areas including:

 

  • Behavioral problems in children and adolescents

  • Anxiety

  • ADHD

  • Depression

  • Stress

  • Major life transitions

  • Trauma

  • Grief/loss

  • Women’s issue

  • Spiritual issues

  • Relationship difficulties

  • Parenting skills

  • Family issues.

In her free time, she enjoys being with her husband, son, extended family, and friends, traveling, reading, attending college football games, and being involved in church.
